What the Wessex Buddy scheme offers
- A voluntary, deanery-wide scheme in which level 1 paediatric trainees or newcomers to the deanery are buddied by level 2 and 3 trainees
- Training for senior buddies (initial and ongoing)
- Matching process – based on junior buddy choice
- Ongoing support for all participants
- Referral pathway for concerns
- Links with Thames Valley and Wessex Leadership Development and the RCPCH mentoring networ
